An outdoor patio with its glass roof and tensioned awnings enables you to either have the full el fresco feel with all the blinds rolled up, or block out the breeze or inclement weather by rolling them down. Comfortable outdoor furniture makes this a great spot to take an afternoon nap in the sun or read a book, and the 6-burner BBQ makes this area ideal for entertaining in all weather.
The spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area has a simple elegance and is charmingly appointed with comfy furniture and eclectic native artwork. You’ll certainly enjoy preparing meals in the modern well designed kitchen with all the modern easy to use appliances any chef would be happy to cook with. A wood burner adjacent to the kitchen/living room provides cosy winter warmth and there’s always plenty of firewood on hand.
The master bedroom has French doors which open out to the gardens and the surrounding native trees. The second bedroom has one entire wall of windows which makes this a very light and bright room. Each of the three bedrooms is furnished with style and supreme comfort in mind. The en-suite bathroom to the main bedroom is a special feature with its French doors and bi-fold windows which brings the garden into the bathroom and will transport you to an exotic spa as you soak in the luxurious bath that is built for two!

The historic village of Mangonui is the setting for this delightful Lockwood cottage with superb views over the tranquil Mill Bay. Built with carefree holidays in mind Quail Cottage offers 2 bedrooms and a light airy open-plan living area. The master bedroom has a King bed and opens onto the wrap-around deck with views to the water and the moored boats below. The second bedroom has a SuperKing bed which can be split into 2 King Single beds. The bathroom has a bath with a shower above and there is a separate toilet.
Downstairs there is a separate area with a bedroom and lounge area – perfect for the teenagers! The bedroom here has two single beds. Please note there is no internal access to this area. Set in a lovely garden Quail Cottage really makes you feel on holiday as soon as you enter. The village of Mangonui is an easy 10-minute walk along the spectacular waterfront. In the other direction, a 20-minute walk will bring you to the beautiful Coopers Beach. There is plenty of parking for the boat and the boat ramp is just a 2 minute drive away.

Set on a double beachfront section at the quiet end of the beautiful Coopers Beach, in Northlands Doubtless Bay, is this special house where you can now make your own holiday memories in. Airlie is a purpose-built holiday home that is amazingly spacious. There is plenty of room both inside and outside so although the house can sleep 8 people there is plenty of space for you to be alone, if you wish.
Each bedroom has stunning ocean views and all open onto the covered terrace. The master suite is at one end and the house. In between it and the other two bedrooms is the ‘great room’ which comprises of spacious designer kitchen leading to the dining and living areas. A stone fireplace ensures both ambiance and warmth in those cooler months. For convenience Airlie is fully air conditioned for summer and winter comfort.
Attached but separate to the main house is The Nook which is the fourth bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Perfect for those wishing to have a little more privacy. This is not rented seperately to the main house but does attract extra fees should you need the extra room while staying at Airlie.
From the ‘great room’ you can access either the beachfront terrace or the expansive courtyard at the rear of the house. There is plenty of parking for cars boats and any other toys you want to bring with you. Speaking of toys there are kayaks available for your use at Airlie. You will also find two outdoor showers which are fabulous after those swims in the pristine waters of Coopers Beach.
The local shops at Coopers can be reached by walking 2 minutes to the end of Bayside Drive and then through a pedestrian accessway. We are lucky enough to have in this shopping area a large 4 Square Supermarket, a chemist, butcher/deli, espresso and gelato bar, bottle shop, as well as two fabulous Spas for holiday pampering.
